Big houses, big yards, dirty dogs
Richmond's newer master-planned neighborhoods come with something most of inner Houston doesn't have: actual yard. Which is great for the dog and hard on the coat.
Dogs with room to run come in with mud worked into their feet, grass seed in their coat, and a lot more dirt down at the skin than a sidewalk dog. That's a Bath & Brush, and the part that does the work is the proper wash and the full blow-out, not a rinse.
The other thing about having a yard is that people try to bathe the dog at home, and then discover that the hard part was never the washing. It's the drying. A thick coat that's washed with a garden hose and left to dry in Houston air stays wet at the skin for hours, and that's how a coat you just cleaned smells bad again by Wednesday.
Grooming available in Richmond
Both appointments, at the same price you'd pay anywhere else in the service area.
The edge of the route
Richmond is toward the far end of the service area. That doesn't cost you anything, since there's no trip fee and no minimum, but it does mean there are fewer slots out here on any given Sunday or Monday than there are in Alief.
Book a little further ahead than you would if you lived closer in, and it's never a problem. If you need something sooner, text and ask what's open.

Questions from Richmond clients
Is there a trip fee or a minimum for coming to me?
No. Every address in the service area is the same price, whether you're in Alief or out in Richmond. There's no trip charge, no fuel surcharge and no minimum spend.
Do you need to use my water or electricity?
No. The van carries its own water and runs on its own power, so nothing is plugged into your house and no hose is needed. All you have to provide is a place to park. Your driveway or the curb out front is fine.
What days do you groom?
Sundays and Mondays, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You'll see the actual open time slots when you book online, so you're never guessing at availability.
How long does an appointment take?
Most appointments run between one and two hours. A Bath & Brush sits at the shorter end and a Full Groom at the longer end, and bigger dogs take more time than small ones. Matted coats, heavy double coats and puppies on their first visit can run past that, and Courtney will tell you if she expects yours to.
