No. The van carries its own water and runs on its own power, so nothing is plugged into your house and no hose is needed. All you have to provide is a place to park. Your driveway or the curb out front is fine.

Most appointments run between one and two hours. A Bath & Brush sits at the shorter end and a Full Groom at the longer end, and bigger dogs take more time than small ones. Matted coats, heavy double coats and puppies on their first visit can run past that, and Courtney will tell you if she expects yours to.

You need to be there to hand your dog over and to take them back at the end, but you don't need to stand outside in between. Most people go back inside and get on with their day. If you'd rather stay and watch, that's fine too. If your dog settles better knowing you're nearby, say so when you book.

Yes, and it's one of the situations mobile grooming suits best. Bathing a dog in an apartment bathroom is miserable, and the van solves it. All that's needed is somewhere to park: guest parking, a visitor space or the curb out front. Let Courtney know your gate code and which building or entrance when you book.

Yes. Book each dog its own appointment slot and Courtney will do them back to back in a single visit. Each dog is priced individually based on its own size.

A Bath & Brush is $90 for a small dog, $105 for a medium and $130 for a large. A Full Groom is $110, $125 and $150 for the same sizes. Those are the real prices, and they're on the pricing page in full with everything each one includes.

There's a de-matting fee of $10 to $20 depending on how severe it is, and Courtney will tell you what she's looking at and what it will cost before she starts, so nothing gets added to your bill as a surprise. If a coat is matted tight against the skin it can't be brushed out without hurting the dog, so the humane answer in that case is to clip underneath the mats and let the coat start over.

Large is 51 lb and up, and dogs over 80 lb are priced at that same Large rate. If your dog is especially big, mention it when you book so Courtney knows what she's working with.

Probably, yes. Courtney has a higher tolerance for a hard dog than most groomers do, and so far she hasn't turned one away. Patience has always gotten it done. There is a point where a dog isn't safe to groom, and she'll tell you honestly if you get there rather than putting your dog through it. What helps most is telling her up front what to expect: what sets your dog off, what they've bitten over before, and what has and hasn't worked with other groomers.

Senior dogs are Courtney's specialty. Older dogs get to work at their own pace with breaks whenever they need them, and because it's mobile there's no car ride and no hours in a kennel waiting their turn. They're only out of the house for their actual appointment. Tell Courtney where your dog is stiff or sore, whether they're deaf or losing their sight, and anything they can't do, and she'll work around it.

Around 6 months. By then most puppies have finished their vaccination series and can handle standing for a full appointment. If you're not sure whether yours is ready, text and ask.

Everything from short-coated family dogs to coats that need real work. Courtney has done a lot of doodles, a lot of double-coated dogs, and a lot of terriers. If you have a specific cut in mind for your breed, tell her when you book.

It's included. A brush-out and de-shed is part of both the Bath & Brush and the Full Groom, so it isn't a separate charge.

Every 4 to 6 weeks if you want to keep any length. Doodle coats mat down at the skin where brushing over the top doesn't reach, and the coat change from puppy to adult, usually somewhere between 8 and 12 months, is when it gets worst. Dogs already on a schedule when that starts come through it fine. Dogs who aren't usually end up needing a shave down.

It depends on the coat. Dogs with coats that keep growing, like doodles, poodles, shih tzus, schnauzers and Yorkies, generally need a Full Groom every 4 to 6 weeks. Short-coated and shedding dogs usually do well with a Bath & Brush every 4 to 8 weeks, and heavy shedders often want the shorter end of that through the hot months.
